oh da ram!

As my Greek friend would say... "Oh da RAM". I have actually never heard him say this and probably never will, but I can picture him saying this in that Greek impressionist voice of his.

Now I am saying, "oh da ram". What is RAM? In technical terms it is RandomAccessMemory. Just last month I upgraded my machine with an extra 1GB stick, and just a few days ago, my computer wouldn't turn on.

This is a bad feeling when your business is working on your computer. After fussing and fighting with my power button I resecitated my machine only to find it was sluggish and unresponsive to the flicks of my fingers on its shiny keys. Continuing to work, I resolved in thinking the problems would resolve themselves. I ran all the appropriate medical software to get things running smoothly again, to no avail.

Then this morning, I looked at the core of my apple realizing it wasn't recognizing four fifths of its brain.

"Oh da RAM!", I said.

My RAM went dead. Luckily there is a lifetime replacement warranty, so as soon as I return it my machine will be alive again.
