very, very sneaky

Sometimes at work I try to sneak into a shot without getting noticed. I guess I need to work on my technique.

nothing but a so called tirbute

I was once inspired to start this blog by a friend of mine. Recently he has taken an oathe of solitude and annonymity in the online journaling world. I respect that. So to ease the pain of having an empty place on my link list I decided to create a new one. It is called ENCOMIUM. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Nothing fantastic, nothing award winning, nothing but a so called tribute. If you were once a fan of this so called blogger, leave a comment to pay hommage to this unnamed journaled hero.

the good and the bad

well there is good news to be said, the RAM i thought was bad turned out to be good. However that is a bad thing because it's is an easy fix. (i send them the bad one and they send me a new good one)

it turns out the RAM slot went bad, not the actual RAM. (bad thing) the good thing about that is i can still run my computer on a GB of RAM. the bad thing about that is i have to ship my computer to california to get fixed. the good thing about that is my computer is under apple care.

right now i am experiencing both the good and the bad

oh da ram!

As my Greek friend would say... "Oh da RAM". I have actually never heard him say this and probably never will, but I can picture him saying this in that Greek impressionist voice of his.

Now I am saying, "oh da ram". What is RAM? In technical terms it is RandomAccessMemory. Just last month I upgraded my machine with an extra 1GB stick, and just a few days ago, my computer wouldn't turn on.

This is a bad feeling when your business is working on your computer. After fussing and fighting with my power button I resecitated my machine only to find it was sluggish and unresponsive to the flicks of my fingers on its shiny keys. Continuing to work, I resolved in thinking the problems would resolve themselves. I ran all the appropriate medical software to get things running smoothly again, to no avail.

Then this morning, I looked at the core of my apple realizing it wasn't recognizing four fifths of its brain.

"Oh da RAM!", I said.

My RAM went dead. Luckily there is a lifetime replacement warranty, so as soon as I return it my machine will be alive again.
