what did I do?

Last week after the first big snow of 2006, I did something galacticly stupid. Let me start out by saying I have never been very good with motorized lawn equipment. Remembering the time I mowed 25 lawns in one day with David Williams. It was my 1st professional lawn mowing experience... unknown to dave. I proceeded to scalp three lawns, have the wheels fall off the mower and dig a 3-foot long trench in old Mr.Sleepy's lawn. Needless to say I am far from a professional when it comes to lawn care.

Again last week I had another traumatizing experience. After learning to work the snowplow, (a rusty plow with an even rustier old suburban attached to it) I proceeded to use the snowblower. Having never used one before I was taking my new experience with joy, until I broke it. Somehow I managed to snowplow over two doormats, one that was all bristles and wires and the other that was now folded in half under the first one. After the snowplow shut it self off I realized my problem.

All was not lost however, the next day I rendered myself to a three hour mat-sectemy. I am happy to say the surgery was a success and the snow blower is now alive and well living its remaining days how all snow-blowers should... out of gas.

A rolling stone gathers no moss.

I have reached and exceeded my goal. As of five minutes ago, the current total views of the cast video has reached 60,261. Call me crazy but that is a lot of people...appox. one third the population of my home town, Amarillo, TX. I can only hope future creations will reach such popularity.

58,000 and rolling

recently featured on youtube.com, the cast video has received honors. i am not breaking any records or anything but the situation has exceeded any expectations i had. as of now (somehow, i lost 1,000 views overnight) i am at 58,525 views. my goal is to reach 60,000 views...(if you read my blog earlier today, my goal was 100,000, but if i am losing hits, i didn't want to set myself up for disappointment). although small time and of course depends on definition, i am an internationally known producer and stevi is a short-short film star.
people from all around the world have contacted me about the cast video, i have even had a producer in L.A. contact me about more films. i suppose if photography doesn't work out i can make films for a living, who am i kidding? oh well it is good to have new aspirations. my new project when posted is bound to reach start-um, believe me you will know when it does. i am not the type to brag on myself, i am just using the gifts i was given, hopefully i can continue to do so.

the exodus of stevi's cast

Last week Stevi got her cast removed, after wearing it for six weeks. Needless to say it was time to celebrate with a shortshort film. Might I also say it was the first time I used imovie and have to say it is very primitive, very intuitive, and makes life beautiful. Enjoy.
